Welcome!

Hi everyone! My name is Vivianna Torres and I'm nineteen years old--and I've been obsessed with Disney since the day I was born.

starting front row from left to right--my cousins, Jojo and Carlui; my older sister, Jacquie; my Mom and I; and lastly, my little sister, Nadia and my Aunt, Maria.

I'm the middle child of two wonderful parents and was blessed with two built-in best friends: my sisters, Jacquie and Nadia. It's safe to say my obsession with the mouse began from a very early age, and it's all thanks to my mother dearest whom has literally every Disney themed kitchen appliance there is known to man kind, (or mouse-kind, rather). My Dad was okay with it--up until she suggested getting a Mickey Mouse themed bed: that's where he drew the line.

From the time my sisters and I were in diapers, we've been going to Disney; and if we weren't at the parks, we were watching all the Disney classics on tapes. My Mom wanted us to become fiends for anything related to the Mouse; and boy, did she succeed, (HA! See what I did there?).

Over a decade later and many Disney trips later, it's safe to say we've become almost-pros at anything that comes to the parks: Family and friends were coming to us for advice on planning their trips; and we've always been more than happy to help them out; and I always followed many Disney influences on social media so that I can always keep on track with the latest news, dining, and all the new things coming to the parks. It came to a point where I turned to my Mom and said, "Hey, I was wondering if I should take up blogging for travelling?", in which my Mother shrugged with a giant smile and replied, "I mean, we go to the parks all the time, so why not?" And so, Honey, I Shrunk my Bank Account, was born!

This blog will be filled with all things Disney from dining to tips and tricks to help plan your next vacation; but as I stated, I love to travel: So, expect to see posts anywhere from Universal Studios parks all the way to even cruising ;)
